For all of our services, the data controller is Murphy Chiropractic Ltd. In order to provide you a health care service we essentially are entering into a contract with you to deliver professional care. Part of this agreement includes a need for us to store and process your personal data as well as a legitimate interest in contacting you via phone, email or SMS. We don’t require you to opt in however we will always give you the opportunity to opt out of receiving communication.

How we use your information 
When you are a client at Advanced Chiropractic and you have physically visited our clinic, by doing so you have provided consent for us to process your information. This consent is our legal basis for processing. We have a legitimate cause to contact you for reasons such as sharing confidential medical information, reminding you about upcoming appointments, keeping you up-to-date with relevant news and information about the clinic and providing relevant health promoting information.

Sharing your information 
We will never sell, distribute or lease your data to any third party.

Confidentiality
We are bound by the General Chiropractic Council regarding sharing of your information to other medical or relevant health professionals. Essentially we need your written consent before we can share records, notes, x-rays or personal information. Explanation of the protocol can be found here.

We store your data securely on our software called “Practicehub”. This data is only accessible via password protected access by our data controllers or data processors. The data is kept on a secure cloud servers located within the EU.

* The right to correct any inaccurate information that we hold about you

From time to time, we may update our privacy policy to reflect changes in the way we provide our services to you, or in accordance with changes in data protection law. We encourage you to stay familiar with our privacy policy, but rest assured that If any significant changes are made, we will let you know.
